| Dr. Vaibhav Chachra from IMA Dehradun won the National Award in Goa Ironman 70.3 – 2024 (Triathlon) A Pulmonologist’s Journey from Healing Others to Chasing His Own Dream. Completing the Goa Ironman 70.3 in 2024 as a proud finisher is a milestone that goes beyond physical endurance. Balancing the demands of being a pulmonologist—hours spent caring for patients—with the rigorous training required was its own endurance test. After a freak accident on May 5, 2022 that left both sides of his ribs got fractured, He could barely swim 40 meters or bike more than 5 km.
